Watched the film Control today, which is a film about Ian Curtis,the singer from Joy Division. Really good film showing the break down of his marriage,and slowly losing control of everything around him,and then taking his own life at the age of 23. Found this wicked site that has photos from inside the Bradford Odeon that were taken last year,it shows just how big the odeon is,and if the council sorted themselves out,they would put money into reopening this wonderful building in Bradford,put no they want to demolish it and build more flats. The Odeon has been closed since 2000, and for eight years there has been huge support on getting the Odeon reopen,check out Save the odeon and show your support,lets stop Bradford council doing what they want.

Just watched the documentary about Robert Crumb,which was filmed in 1994 by Terry Zwigoff,called Crumb. The documentary is a look at his family life,which seemed twisted and crazy,with his two brothers having serious mental heath problems,and also showing crumbs mental and sexual issues,which come through in his drawings. On the drawings side it shows crumbs love of drawing,and he has a great attitude about the way he wants his work to be used,and not selling out to the highest bidder. You should check it out if you are interested,in why people draw and keep having the passion to be drawing all the time.

On Friday night at the Vic in keighley, there was a tribute gig for Kevin O'Brien, who was taken away from everyone in such a shocking way, attacked and dying in the early hours of January 13th. The tribute gig showed the passion kev had for music and having fun, the bands that played were Indigo Crow, Brand New Analogues and Aftermath. The pictures are not the best I've taken, was too busy getting drunk and enjoying the bands, but thats what the night was about enjoying yourself and remembering a great guy,who everyone loved called kev.

Just found out today that Kev the bass player from Spandex Caravan, was attacked on Saturday night in Keighley and died in hospital this morning, it's unbelievable was having a beer and chat with him on Friday night, the early reports on the news say suspected robbery, Such a waste of a life and for what afew quid.

The other day I got a external hard drive, and have moved my itunes music to the external hard drive,which has saved me nearly 17GB of space on my eMac. If you have a large amount of tunes and films on your computer I would recommend doing this. The Apple website have a useful article on how to move your itunes music folder and tell itunes to read your songs from your external hard drive.
